Sean Moen

A native Oregonian, Sean grew up in the North Willamette Valley near the historic town of Aurora. After high school, he served in the U.S. Navy as an avionics technician at Miramar NAS in San Diego during the first Gulf War. After an honorable discharge he utilized his G.I. Upon graduation Sean worked in specialty food distribution across Portland, Oregon for approximately 10 years before devoting himself full time to a career in the historic art world.

Since his first art purchase in 2004, Sean has engrossed himself in all aspects related to the art industry. His main focus has been on paintings with an appreciation for photographs and fine prints as well. He has spent hundreds of classroom hours studying the history and progression of art from the earliest cave paintings up through the 20th Century. He has a strong passion and desire for constantly learning and sharing about the artists and movements that have shaped the diverse art world we live in today.
